The
Akshaya Patra Foundation is an NGO in India providing nutritious school meals
to children across India. Presently, the Foundation feeds 17,65,597 children in
more than 15,000 government schools and government-aided schools situated in 45
locations of 12 states. With its food for education cause, Akshaya Patra
nourishes and nurtures school children empowering them to be resourceful
citizens of India.
