Akshaya Patra Begins Flood Relief Operation in Guwahati, Assam
Heavy flooding in Assam resulted in thousands of people being displaced. Akshaya Patra responded to this grave situation and started flood relief operation in Athgaon, a small locality on the outskirts of Guwahati. Currently, two hot meals are being served to people in the region. The relief effort will continue until the situation stabilizes.
